Capitext's Messaging platform can be accessed in a variety of ways.
HTTP is supported by all services on Capitext – and is the most commonly used protocol and is supported on every platform. HTTP POST is used to send and receive MMS messages from Capitext's platform using form data encoding to “attach” files to POST requests.
SOAP and XMLRPC are both supported on the Capitext platform and can be used for sending and receiving SMS messages, and for dealing with delivery reports and notification messages.
We also offer a managed service whereby you can submit an email to us with a file containing your bulk SMS messages in a predefined format. We can then send the messages on your behalf at a predetermined date and time.
The following services are supported by our protocols.
